The patient must be advised of the recovery time and be provided with all the potential medical problems in detail. The patient should ask the surgeon about their experience regarding the procedure. The patient must receive detailed instructions on how to prepare for surgery as well as after surgery care. It is always helpful if the patient comes with written questions to ask during the consultation.
